PFERD custom packaging for thin cut-off wheels
PFERD announced a new, recyclable, stackable plastic package for all 4-1/2", 5" and 6" cut-off wheels for angle grinders with thickness .045" and less.
The plastic package offers increased durability over conventional cardboard packaging. The new package strength helps ensure wheel integrity during transit, storage and handling.
While plastic containers are increasingly common for thin cut-off wheel packaging, PFERD's new package features ABS plastic for top strength and durability. An integrated center spindle protects wheel edges from damage, even if the package is dropped.
The translucent design allows users to see how many wheels are left in the package. New carton and masterpak quantities are also implemented to facilitate handling for both distributors and users.
