Grainger reported sales results for the month of November increased 15 percent.
The increase included a 5 percent bump from acquisitions. The company said the increase was also attributable to a 10 percetnage point gain from volume and a 2 percentage point gain from price, partially offset by a 2 percentage point decline from 2010 oil spill related sales.
Sales in the United States were up by 9%, while sales in Canada increased 15%.
