Midwest manufacturing rises in October
The Chicago Fed Midwest Manufacturing Index increased 0.7% in October, to a seasonally adjusted level of 85.5, according to the Chicago Federal Reserve Bank.
Production in three of the four regional sectors increased in October (auto, resource, machinery), while the steel sector output decreased.
