Fastenal October sales rise
Fastenal reported that its October sales were $310.9 million, 7.7% higher than the $288.5 million reported last year.
Daily sales of $13.5 million also increased by 7.7% from $12.5 million last year.
During the month, manufacturing customers grew 7.6% and non-residential construction customers grew 5.4%. The company opened two new stores in October, for a total of 2,688 locations, and total employee headcount increased by 9.6% to 16,931 employees.
