TDC Cutting Tools acquires Manigley AG
The parent company of Greenfield Industries, TDC Cutting Tools Inc., recently acquired Manigley AG, located in Sutz, Switzerland.
The new acquisition will be called TDC Manigley AG. Manigley, founded in 1918, produces threading taps, threading dies, thread plug gauges, thread ring gauges and various other accessories. "Manigley’s product line and expertise will bring additional high end Swiss quality cutting tool technology to TDC, Greenfield Industries and other affiliates," according to a company press release.
Established in 1995, TDC Cutting Tools Inc. calls itself one of the fastest growing cutting tool companies in the world and the world market leader for high-speed steel cutting tools. TDC employs around 3,000 employees worldwide, produces over 300 million tools and 6,000 miles of saw blades annually. Headquarters for all worldwide operations excluding China are currently being established in Seneca, S.C.
