Speedtech to offer Kwik Bandit fasteners
Speedtech International Inc. has been selected by Kwik Bandit Incorporated as the exclusive master distributor of Kwik Bandit fasteners for the United States and Mexico.
Kwik Bandit is a new, patent-pending line of reusable, rubber straps and tie down fasteners. With Kwik Bandit straps, users simply stretch, wrap and lock objects together for an extra secure hold. Developed in Canada for users in the oil, gas and transportation industries, this is the first time the product is available to end users, distributors and retailers in the United States and Mexico.
The reusable Kwik Bandit straps serve as a complimentary product line to Speedtech’s SPEEDWRAP brand hook and loop fasteners.
“Kwik Bandits compete with cable ties, straps, wraps, tie downs and bungee cords. Resellers, OEMs and end users of those types of products are Speedtech’s core audience," said Ryan Comaniuk, CEO of Kwik Bandit Inc. As the exclusive Master Distributor for the United States and Mexico, Speedtech is in the early stages of establishing both industrial and retail distribution partners for the Kwik Bandit product line. A Kwik Bandit tie or strap is the ideal solution for many of these applications.”
Kwik Bandit straps and tie down fasteners are also a fit for Speedtech’s existing MRO, data communications, electrical, marine and recreational distributors. While these distributors carry Speedtech’s line of SPEEDWRAP hook and loop fasteners, they often have other product categories aimed at transportation and material handling. Often those markets are supplied with elastic tie-down straps and bundling products, similar to bungee cords.The larger Kwik Bandit straps compete well against many elastic-banding products, especially when durability and safety are considered, the company says..
