Affiliated Distributors names new ISD senior VP
Affiliated Distributors announced that it has named Jack Templin senior vice president of AD's Industrial Supply Division.
Templin has more than 24 years of distribution and manufacturing experience, most recently serving as vice president of sales and marketing for the industrial distribution channel for Stanley Black & Decker.
"We are confident that Jack will provide strong advocacy on behalf of ISD Affiliates and positive support to our valued suppliers. Jack's industry knowledge and personal relationships will enable him to continue the strong tradition of service established by Stu Mechlin and continued by Mark Higgins," said AD CEO Bill Weisberg in an announcement to AD affiliates and supplier delegates.
"Additionally, Jack's understanding of the challenges facing both distributors and manufacturers in today's market, uniquely position him to bring added value to our members and suppliers on a wide range of business matters. Jack's positive relationships with all of us on AD staff were also an important consideration," Weisberg added.
Templin, who lives in College Station, Texas, will begin working for AD on Oct. 1.
