IBC names new executive

IBC - Industrial Supply Plus named Ted Buck as Director of National Accounts and Supplier Diversity.


Ted BuckIn his new role, Buck will be responsible for developing new business opportunities for IBC’s network of independent distributors and preferred suppliers. IBC is a national buying and marketing group for independent distributors and manufacturers of industrial, construction and manufacturing supplies,

Buck has more than 25 years of experience in the distribution industry, including extensive work managing various corporate, national accounts. Prior to joining IBC, Buck spent over 25 years at Orr Safety Corporation serving in a variety of roles, most recently as Corporate Accounts Manager – Vice President. In this capacity, he served a range of clients including Kiewit Construction, Tower Automotive, NiSource, LP Building Products, International Paper, Southern Company and Schwan’s Foods.

Ron Nuñez, president and COO of IBC, said Buck’s appointment is part of IBC’s aggressive strategy to proactively market IBC and attract new business. “Buck has years of experience in all levels of the industry which brings tremendous value to our customers and our network,” said Nuñez. “With his addition, we are anticipating significant growth in our National Accounts business.”
