B&D Industrial to open Fla. branch

B&D Industrial is expanding its sales and service territory into South Florida with the opening of a new branch office in Fort Lauderdale.

The branch will officially open Sept.15.

The company currently has a presence in north and central Florida served by its Tampa, Ocala and Jacksonville branch offices.

“The expansion was a natural progression for us,” said Benjamin Nations, vice president of B&D Industrial. “We have a great service team who knows the market and its needs. They have done an excellent job growing customer relationships and business in the area in preparation for this expansion.”

Brian Dyals, regional manager for B&D Industrial, will oversee the branch opening. “We are excited to bring our many years of experience, our excellent product offering and our un-matched service capabilities to the South Florida market. We will be a great fit for south Florida MRO companies,” he said.

Suzanne McGowan, local operations manager for B&D Industrial, will oversee the branch’s ongoing operations.

“We have a unique appreciation for the industry in this part of the state. We have a strong history with manufacturing in process industries like sugar and food, mining, waste water, recycling and OEMs,” said McGowan.

Headquartered in Macon, Ga., B&D Industrial operates four specialty divisions: Bearings and Drives, Scale Systems, B&D Service and Simco Technologies.
