Ritz Safety acquires Safety Source
Ritz Safety LLC, an industrial safety supply distributor headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, has purchased Safety Source Incorporated, based in Mobile, Ala.
Safety Source Inc.’s operations include two sales and distribution centers that have served the Gulf Coast for over 20 years.
"Ritz Safety’s purchase of Safety Source Inc. will continue to position the combined organization as a local, regional, and national supplier to the industrial, agriculture, construction, mining, manufacturing, service, waste, oil and gas, ship building, and other industries who are looking for assistance and consistency in keeping their employees safe," according to a company statement. The two Safety Source Inc. facilities will continue to operate under the Safety Source name during the transition. The acquisition brings the total number of Ritz Safety sales and distribution centers to eight.
In business since 1983, Ritz Safety operates eight retail and distribution centers, in Pompano Beach, Tampa and Jacksonville, Fla.; Indianapolis; Houston; Las Vegas, and Mobile, Ala.
