Airgas acquires Abbott Gas Products
Airgas has acquired Abbott Gas Products, a distributor of industrial and medical gases and related supplies headquartered in Olean, N.Y.
In addition to its headquarters location, Abbott maintains facilities in Jamestown and Hornell, N.Y.
“We are excited to welcome Abbott’s associates and customers into the Airgas family,” said Kent Carter, president of Airgas’ northeast region, in a press release. “We believe Airgas and Abbott customers in the Southern Tier will benefit greatly from the combined product and service offerings and expertise of our two companies.”
