Butler Bros. acquires Chandler & Farquhar
Lewiston, Maine-based Butler Bros. announced the acquisition of Chandler & Farquhar, an industrial distributor located in Randolph, Mass.
Chandler & Farquhar was founded in 1882 and next year will celebrate 130 years of serving the greater Boston and Providence, R.I. areas.
Butler Bros. is a family owned, full-line industrial distributor of cutting tools, abrasives, MROP and safety products. The company focuses on product application, continuous improvement, cost reduction, integrated supply and value-added solutions.
With the acquisition of Chandler & Farquhar, Butler Bros. continues to expand its footprint to the southern New England region.
"The combined Butler Bros. and Chandler & Farquhar teams will continue to provide our customers with high-quality products, innovative solutions and extraordinary customer service at competitive prices," according to a company press release.
