Mondics to retire from Applied
In a filing with the SEC, Applied Industrial Technologies said that president and chief operating officer Benjamin Mondics plans to retire in August.
"After nearly 19 years of service, Benjamin J. Mondics, Applied's President & Chief Operating Officer since 2008, announced his intention to retire from Applied on August 16," the brief filing stated.
According to a story on Crain's Cleveland Business, Mondics will have reached the company's retirement age of 55 and will have surpassed the required 10 years of employment at that time.
Mondics joined the company in August 1994 as a branch sales manager in Pittsburgh.
