National Activity Index slows
The Chicago Fed National Activity Index shows slower economic activity in April.
Led by declines in production-related indicators, the Index decreased to -0.53 in April from -0.23 in March.
The index’s three-month moving average ticked up to –0.04 in April from –0.05 in March.
