Airgas acquires Valley Air Supply
Airgas has acquired Valley Air Supply Inc. headquartered in Muscle Shoals, Ala.
The industrial gas and welding supply distributor generated more than $10 million in sales in 2014. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Valley Air Supply's four locations in Muscle Shoals; Decatur, Ala.; Jasper, Ala.; and Jackson, Tenn. and more than 30 associates joined Airgas effective late April 2015.

Valley Air Supply marks Airgas' third acquisition since the beginning of the company's 2016 fiscal year, totaling approximately $31 million in aggregate acquired revenue. Fiscal year to-date acquisitions also include Liberty Welding Supply based in Vancouver, Wash., and eKipro Rentals and Grupo Industrial Daymaga in Mexico.
