MSC expands Accupro product line
MSC Industrial Supply is expanding its Accupro portfolio of high-performance metalworking products for small, precise applications.
The new line adds more than 3,000 new precision-engineered metalworking tools to the existing 20,000 Accupro products MSC currently offers.
"We have experienced increasing demand for tools with micro-manufacturing applications that are extremely durable and heat-resistant," said Brian McGrath, MSC senior product manager. "This demand is especially clear among our manufacturing customers in the electronics, medical, aerospace and mold making industries. They recognize the precision, high performance and value the Accupro brand offers, and we are excited to deliver an enhanced suite of products that are designed specifically to help address our customers' unique needs."
MSC's existing Accupro product offerings include standard-sized end mills and drills engineered for optimal productivity in specific materials and applications. The new range of Accupro end mills and drills can be used on hard-to-machine work piece materials such as stainless steels, hardened steels, aluminum and composites.
In addition, MSC is enhancing its collection of Accupro with coolant through and dual-contact tool holders made for aggressive, high-torque machining applications. The new Accupro tool holders are designed to extend the life of the tools and enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the machine tool spindle.
