Horizon Solutions names director of industrial and safety
Horizon Solutions announced that Scott Wilson has accepted the position of director, industrial/safety products and services.
Wilson started his career in distribution in 1993 at RERO Distribution, a precursor founding company of Horizon Solutions. In the intervening years, he developed a broad background in multiple departments and job functions within Horizon.
Most recently, Wilson managed Horizon’s supply chain programs in New York State. He has spent significant time developing customer programs and selling services. He has been heavily involved with industry organizations such as the Young Executives Forum (YEF) through the Industrial Supply Association (ISA) and the Product Committee at Affiliated Distributors (AD). Wilson graduated with a BS from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and received his Master’s Degree in 2007, also from RIT.
He is based in Horizon’s corporate office in Rochester, N.Y.
