Rexnord acquires British manufacturer
Rexnord LLC has acquired Autogard Holdings Ltd., a European manufacturer of torque limiters, couplings and torque monitoring devices.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 1939 and based in Cirencester, England, Autogard has factories in the United Kingdom and the United States, and sales and support offices located throughout Europe, North America and Australia.
The acquisition further expands Rexnord's global process and motion control offerings, according to a company statement.
Rexnord is a manufacturer of power transmission and water-management products.
