Dentec Safety acquires U.S. Safety respirator business
Dentec Safety Specialists has acquired the U.S. Safety respirator business from MCR Safety.
"The Comfort-Air and Comfort-Ease products have unique designs that will provide our customers with a reason to reconsider their half mask and full face mask needs going forward," said Claudio Dente, president of Dentec Safety Specialists.
MCR Safety and Dentec Safety will work together to ensure a seamless transition and uninterrupted service, according to a company press release.
Dentec Safety Specialists Inc. is a manufacturer and wholesaling company in Canada, selling brand names of personal protective equipment (PPE) as safety solutions through distribution partners. Markets served include safety equipment, contractor supply, industrial supply, welding, STAFDA, first aid & medical, janitorial, retail hardware, paint sundry and drug stores.
Dentec Safety Specialists Corp. is the manufacturing and distribution organization located in Lenexa, Kansas. Dentec will continue to manufacture the Comfort-Air and Comfort-Ease respirator products in the United States.
U.S. Safety (Parmalee Industries) of Lenexa, Kan., was acquired by MCR Safety in August 2013.
