MSC names new EVP/CFO

MSC Industrial Direct announced that Jeffrey Kaczka will succeed Charles Boehlke as executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective April 8.

Boehlke, age 55, will retire as CFO and a director of the company and will continue as a senior advisor to ensure a smooth transition process. Kaczka, age 51, has over 25 years of experience in financial management in both public and private companies. Most recently, from 2008 to 2009, he served as chief financial officer, International, of Genworth Financial Inc., a financial services company. From 2001 to 2007, he served as senior vice president and CFO of Owens & Minor Inc., a Fortune 500 company that provides distribution, third-party logistics and other supply-chain management services to healthcare providers and suppliers of medical and surgical products.

Kaczka graduated with a BA in Economics from Rutgers University. He was named a finalist for CFO of the Year by Virginia Business Magazine in 2007.

"We are delighted to have someone of Jeff's caliber join our company. Jeff comes to us with extensive experience in related industries, an excellent reputation and a proven track record as a manager who can meet and exceed strategic goals," said David Sandler, president and chief executive officer.
