PIP appoints new executives
Protective Industrial Products announced the appointments of a new vice president of global marketing and a new chief financial officer.
Anthony Di Giovanni is now vice president of Global Marketing. After two years with PIP he has proven to be a pivotal leader in strategic marketing and in team building, the company said. His diverse experience in industrial products includes 13 years with 3M and eight years with Sperian (now Honeywell Safety).
Sean Weil is now chief financial officer overlooking both Finance and Accounting for the entire organization. He came to PIP in May 2014 as comptroller. Following the departure of his predecessor, Weil quickly made his mark by reorganizing the team based on key specialties and reinforcing the leadership within each group, the company said. He continued by strengthening and amalgamating international entities in order to improve efficiencies and synergies with corporate head office.
