Wesco acquires Reco LLC
Wesco International has acquired Cincinnati-based Reco LLC.
With annual sales of approximately $25 million, Reco is a Siemens automation, controls and electrical distributor, with six branches located in the midwest and southeastern regions of the United States.
"The addition of Reco expands and enhances Wesco's industrial automation and control product and service offerings. Reco is one of the top Siemens distributors in the US and we are pleased to have them become part of the Wesco team," said Stephen A. Van Oss, senior vice president and chief operating. The acquisition is expected to be immediately accretive to earnings.
"Becoming part of WESCO will provide growth opportunities for our employees and access to additional products, services and capabilities to enhance our already strong customer and supplier relationships," said Bruce Blum, Reco president.
