Cardinal Rubber & Seal acquires Stultz
Roanoke, Va.-based Cardinal Rubber & Seal has acquired Stultz Machine, Tool & Equipment and renamed it Stultz Tool & Equipment.
Also located in Roanoke, Stultz is a sales, repair and service location for hydraulics, air compressors and pneumatic tools. It has operated in Roanoke for 51 years. The company has five employees but anticipates hiring five more people in the coming year, according to vice president Pat Lawhorn.
Cardinal, which has been in business in Roanoke for 41 years, distributes hoses, fittings, seals and gaskets and also manufactures gaskets. This is the company's first acquisition.
With 46 total employees, Cardinal has branches in Richmond and in Rock Hill, S.C.
