Strickland named Blackhawk CFO

BlackHawk Industrial Distribution named Parker L. Strickland as chief financial officer.


He will assume responsibility and oversight of all accounting, finance, treasury and legal activities of BlackHawk Industrial. Strickland will be instrumental in centralizing the accounting, finance, treasury and legal functions of all BlackHawk companies.

Strickland brings extensive CFO experience with him to BlackHawk. HIs previous CFO
experiences were with SemMaterials LP, a multinational road material science company, Aircraft Fueling Systems, a mid-size aircraft fuel systems company, Fintube Technologies, an integrated steel manufacturer and BRO Optical, a regional optical lens distributor. Most recently, Strickland has operated his own financial/operational consulting services firm for start-up to midsize companies.

BlackHawk Industrial was formed in 2010 by Bill Scheller, former CEO and president of ORS Nasco Inc., and Brazos Private Equity Partners LLC, a Dallas-based private investment firm. BlackHawk has made two acquisitions, Rogers Industrial Supply, Fort Smith, Ark., and Oklahoma City-based Duncan Industrial Solutions.
