Purvis Industries acquires Bearing Solutions Inc.
Purvis Industries announced the acquisition of Bearing Solutions Inc. of Houston.
Terms were not disclosed. Bearing Solutions, which specializes in providing bearings and power transmission products to the oilfield market, has locations in Houston and Odessa, Texas, and Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Bearing Solutions will be folded into Purvis Industries' new National Petroleum Oilfield Products (NPOP) division that serves the oil and gas industry.
"We feel this is a natural bolt-on fit for NPOP, bringing together two sets of employees with hundreds of years of combined experience supplying oilfield solutions and Tier 1 product lines for both organizations," said Bob Purvis, president of Purvis Industries.
