Martin acquires J&K Sales and Engineering
Martin Inc. has agreed to acquire J&K Sales and Engineering, Nashville Tenn.
“We are pleased to announce the acquisition of J&K Sales and Engineering. J&K, founded in 1984 and purchased by Oley Martin in 1994, has an established reputation in middle Tennessee for providing technical expertise and quality service to their customer base," said David Ruggles, president of Martin Supply Company. "The J&K operation will be combined with the current Martin sales and distribution center in Nashville.”
Oley Martin, president of J&K Sales, said, “"We are very excited to be joining the Martin Team; I believe this move will enable us to offer our customers a wider range of products and services and will also provide great opportunities for our current employees.”
Martin Inc., founded in 1934, is a privately held company with six operating divisions in the Southeastern U.S., Martin Industrial Supply, Martin Plant Services, Martin Fastening Solutions, Martin Safety Solutions, Townsend Door Hardware and Townsend Systems.
