Riechman Crosby Hays merges with IAC Inc.

Riechman Crosby Hays announced that it merged with IAC Inc. in January.


Both companies are based in Memphis, Tenn.

RCH is now the Industrial Supply Division of IAC. Steve Delk will lead this newly formed division, reporting to IAC president Darrell Smith. James Butler will transition into a sales leadership position working closely with the newly combined organization pursuing and growing MRO business.

"The benefits of combining these two companies are numerous. It will create a much stronger presence in the electrical and industrial marketplace and provide customers a more efficient supply chain. It will provide additional economies of sale and other operational efficiencies that will increase the speed and ease of doing business," according to a press release announcing the merger.

"RCH has a strong legacy in the Mid-South dating back to its beginning in 1895. Their rich tradition coupled with IAC’s strong position in the Industrial, OEM/SI, Construction and Institutional customer segments will provide even broader solution capabilities for our customers," the company said.

IAC is a full-service wholesale electrical distributor serving the industrial market.
