Greenfield's Blackburn passed away
George Blackburn passed away on Jan. 26, 2016.
Blackburn retired from Greenfield Industries after 42 years as the director of international sales. He was a mentor at Greenfield and touched many lives. He was a strong-willed man who loved his family, believed in a good work ethic, and enjoyed time in his garden.
Blackburn is survived by his wife, Katherine Blackburn; daughters, Diane Hyatt, Barbara DuRegger (Jason), and Amy Dreyer (Chris); son, George Blackburn (Kara); brother, Howard Blackburn; and grandchildren, Heather, Kevin, Megan, Jake, and Blair.
The family is accepting donations to The Heart and Vascular Services Fund c/o University Health Care Foundation, 2100 Central Avenue Suite D1, Augusta, GA 30904.
