Fastenal January sales up 11.7 percent
Fastenal reported sales in January of $274.9 million, an 11.7% increase compared to $245.9 million in January 2012.
Daily sales were $12.5 million, a 6.7% increase from last year.
The company said that manufacturing customers grew 6.4% and non-residential construction customers grew 2.4% during the month.
Fastenal opened three stores during the month, and now has a total of 2,655 stores.
