Fastenal selects Tofino Software
Tofino Software announced that Fastenal Company selected Tofino as its service provider for FAST Crib.
Advanced Web-based (SaaS) technology, optimized for tablets and the desktop, provides integrated maintenance management, inventory management and procurement, functionality. Tofino Resource Management Solutions are available as customer managed or supplier managed solutions
"Leading factors in their choice was ease of use and ease of deployment. Out-of-the-box, Tofino TRMS is ready to go with all of the functionality outlined above. Database maintenance and provisioning is easy and can be done by anyone that can move columns in Excel," the company said in a press release.
Featuring punch-out access to multiple supplier and OEM databases, Tofino TRMS can communicate with most vending solutions, providing the customer with unified reporting throughout their inventory management environment.
"By creating, from the ground-up, a fully integrated suite rather than bolt-on modules, Tofino Software has removed the limits of traditional maintenance management, inventory management and procurement applications. State-of-the-art web-based technology provides the customer with the ability to search, find and manage multiple supplier databases from any web-enabled device," the company said.
