Fastenal October sales up 16.9%
Fastenal reported that its October sales were $288.5 million, 16.9% higher than in October 2011.
Daily sales increased to $12.5 million, a 6.8% gain from $11.7 million dollars in the same month last year.
During the month, manufacturing customers grew 9.1% and non-residential construction customers grew 0.9%. Hurricane Sandy lowered daily sales growth by 1.5 percentage points during the month.
