BSA Committee Offers Additional Presentation at Fall Meeting

Members of the Bearing Specialists Association (BSA) Information Technology and Supply Chain Committee will hear a presentation by Joe Remes, VP of Industrial Distribution at CommerceHub at the association's 2010 Fall Meeting, Sept. 26-28, at the Hilton Suites Chicago-Magnificent Mile in Chicago.

CommerceHub is a third-party integrator which helps companies electronically connect their suppliers enabling distributors to send and receive electronic documents such as purchase orders, PO acknowledgements, advanced ship notices, invoices and supplier inventory feeds. The resulting efficiencies lead to cost savings, increases in customer satisfaction and communications, and increased sales; all are particularly beneficial to distributors maximizing growth in the economic recovery.

BSA's Information Technology and Supply Chain Committee is charged with educating members on advancements and improvements in information technology and distributor supply chain efficiencies. The committee often leverages the relaxed pace of BSA Fall and Winter Meetings to welcome speakers on a variety of topics.

The BSA Fall and Winter Meetings are designed to allow attendees to "sample" regular committee meetings without making a specific commitment to committee membership. The meetings also offer the association's committees the opportunity to pursue their agendas without the distractions of broader programming at the BSA Annual Convention. The accessible Chicago location and a well-planned schedule of committee meetings allow attendees to participate with minimal time away from their other business responsibilities.

Additional Fall Meeting information is available from the BSA website, www.bsahome.org or by calling the association at (630) 858-3838. Registration deadline is August 26.
