Magliner Trayless Bottled Water Truck
Magline introduced the Magliner Trayless Bottled Water Truck, a lightweight hand truck to cradle one to four bottles at a time without clamps or trays.
Bottles carried on the Trayless Bottled Water Truck are held in place by their own weight and friction, minimizing downtime and lessening driver strain.
The Trayless Bottled Water Truck was designed in conjunction with a national bottled water distributor, using feedback from drivers, sales representatives and an ergonomist to engineer an ergonomic and effective product. Sales representatives had been moving some product by hand, since the distributor’s larger hand trucks were not conducive to carrying only 1-4 bottles at a time. The Trayless Bottled Water Truck was constructed as a safer, more ergonomic solution for transporting these smaller loads. An energy expenditure study was performed showing that carrying 1-3 bottles using the Trayless Bottled Water Truck uses 9% less energy than those who delivered by hand, and endured less physical stress and fewer ergonomic risk factors.
At only 25.5 pounds, the Trayless Bottled Water Truck weighs approximately half as much as traditional steel trucks, so it is easy to lift off the vehicle. It also features a long handle and Quantumshield™ coated back brace, so that the truck is stabilized at a higher height when in the horizontal position. This eliminates the need for drivers to bend down to the floor when loading and unloading, decreasing related back injuries and overall fatigue.
The Trayless Bottled Water Truck is 48.5’’ high and 21.5” deep, with a 300lb. weight capacity. Optional heavy-duty cast stair climbers can be affixed for increased maneuverability. Like all Magline products, the Trayless Bottled Water Truck comes standard with a one-year warranty.
