Brighton Best acquires Ironclad Performance Wear
Ironclad Performance Wear Corporation announced that it has been acquired by Brighton Best International Inc. through an asset purchase.
"The entire Ironclad team is excited to work with our new owners. BBI will help us accelerate our growth in the marketplace by bringing fresh capital and broader access to the market," said Eric Jaeger, one of the original Ironclad employees.
Headquartered in Farmers Branch, Texas, Ironclad is a manufacturer of task-specific PPE gloves.
Jun Xu, president of BBI stated, "Bringing together BBI's distribution and logistics capabilities with Ironclad's strength in product design and marketing for gloves, BBI sees the best of both companies being able to work together to create something that is greater than the sum of its parts."
Originally founded in 1925 in Cincinnati, Ohio, BBI is today headquartered in Taiwan, and is a global wholesaler of industrial and construction fasteners to distributors around the world with over 31 locations and over 2.4 million square feet of warehouse space globally.
