Industrial Supply Company names new VP of finance
Industrial Supply Company announced that Michelle Lakin has been promoted to the position of vice president of finance for the company.
“I am very grateful to Michelle for the expertise, hard work, and intelligent support she brings to Industrial Supply,” said Chris Bateman, Industrial Supply’s chief executive officer. “We appreciate the added strength Michelle will bring to our team.”
Lakin began her career with Industrial Supply in 2015. Prior to joining the company, she obtained her CPA license and spent almost five years with a local CPA firm. She has worked for several years in various industries such as manufacturing, software development, and government. She received both her Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Accounting at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah.
“I greatly appreciate having the opportunity to work alongside such outstanding, hardworking individuals,” said Lakin. “I look forward to remaining focused on our customer's needs, as well as encouraging our employees to go above and beyond."
