Greenfield Industries, TDC Cutting Tools hold grand opening

TDC Cutting Tools Inc. has completed the expansion of its operations and overseas headquarters in Oconee County, S.C. with a grand opening ceremony.

This expansion will create 38 new positions at the Davis Creek Road site. The company has invested over $10 million in the construction of the new TDC Overseas campus, which includes a 32,000 square foot office building and a 10,000 square foot recycling center for GreenTech Global. Greenfield Industries, a subsidiary of TDC, recently consolidated its complete U.S. manufacturing operations and U.S./ Canadian headquarters at the campus.

“Through this expansion, TDC has positioned itself for strong future growth in its overseas markets,” said Jeff Chee, founder and CEO of TDC. “TDC chose Oconee County for its overseas headquarters largely in part due to the proximity to Clemson University and Tri-County Technical College, the excellent support provided by both county and state governments, regional infrastructure and potential cost advantages.”

The grand opening ceremony was held Sept. 18.
