BDI names safety products manager
Cleveland-based BDI (Bearing Distributors Inc.), announced the appointment of Scott Smith as category manager of safety products.
Smith has worked in safety training/sales for the past 23 years. He has a proven track record of growth in a wide range of industries, including general manufacturing, food processing, energy, and utilities, the company said in a press release.
“Scott’s arrival at BDI signals a continuation of our strategy to grow with new product additions. Similar to our fluid power expansion, in-house expertise for safety products will be a major part of BDI’s effort going forward,” says David Strovers, Product Specialist Group Manager.
