H.B. Fuller revenue up 9.8 percent

H.B. Fuller Company reported net revenue for the third quarter of 2017 was $562.9 million, up 9.8 percent versus the third quarter of 2016.

Higher volume, pricing and acquisitions positively impacted net revenue growth, which was offset by negative foreign currency translation. Organic revenue was up more than 7 percent year-on-year.

Net income for the third quarter of 2017 was $25.1 million, or 49 cents per diluted share, versus net income of $32.7 million, or 64 cents, in last year’s third quarter.

"The Americas is solidly back to growth mode with organic volume delivery of over 6 percent. Engineering Adhesives continued to deliver sales growth above our long term target of 15 percent and drove margins higher to nearly 14 percent, a key tenet in our long term strategy," said Jim Owens, H.B. Fuller president and chief executive officer.
