North American Tool names 2016 Scholarship recipients

North American Tool Corporation announced the recipients of its annual Taylor Memorial Scholarship.

Each year, a committee of community leaders selects two recipients for each of the $1,000 scholarships. Students must submit an application, and be accepted by an accredited institution of higher learning, or acknowledged school of trade.

Established in memory of North American Tool founders, K.Y. and Roger Taylor, the scholarships are granted to children or dependents of associates at North American Tool or sister-company, Gaylee Saws.

“The Taylors had great affection for all people they worked with, and through many family activities at the company, watched their co-workers’ children grow-up,” said North American Tool president and CEO, Curt Lansbery, “Their dream was to help these young people with a scholarship fund for continued education beyond high school.”

Congratulations to 2016 Taylor Memorial Scholarship recipients, Brittany Devine and Megan Bowen. North American Tool proudly supports these students in their pursuit of higher education
