Chicago Fed National Activity Index declined in May
The Chicago Fed National Activity Index was −0.51 in May, down from +0.05 in April.
The index’s three-month moving average decreased to –0.36 in May from –0.25 in April. May’s reading suggests that growth in national economic activity was somewhat below its historical trend.
