Osborn appoints abrasives product manager
Osborn appointed Ty Weber as its product manager for its abrasives division.
As a product manager, Weber is responsible for the development and execution of the abrasives category strategy, including the forthcoming introduction of Osborn’s new line of abrasive discs. Weber has more than 12 years of industry experience.
Before assuming his new position, Weber worked as a territory sales manager for Osborn. Prior to joining Osborn, Weber worked as a director of sales for Allied Industrial Supply and a sales manager for Fastenal.
“We are happy to welcome Ty to his new position at Osborn,” said Spencer Maheu, director of marketing and product management at Osborn. “His experience with end users and distribution will bring tremendous insights to the team.”
Weber is a combat veteran of the United States Marine Corps, where he served for eight years, earning the rankings of Sergeant and Squad Leader for an infantry platoon.
