Distribution One releases Cloud software version

Distribution One announced a new version of its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software suite for wholesalers and distributors: ERP-ONE+ Cloud and On-Premise.

ERP-ONE+ software is designed for wholesalers and distributors that require broad suite functionality within one fully interconnected system to handle their entire operational needs. With native 64-bit architecture, ERP-ONE+ delivers increased processing speeds allowing more data to be stored in memory.

"In building ERP-ONE+, we embraced our customers' requests for even greater speed and usability. Building on the proven foundation of our ERP-ONE software, we redesigned ERP-ONE+ as a true 64-bit application to deliver immediate access to related customer and product data," said Larry Ward, president of Distribution One. "Beyond the system-wide performance upgrades, we have enhanced our interface to provide a superior user experience with field-specific on-screen help."

ERP-ONE+ includes features that wholesalers and distributors require to automate their processes including Accounting, Order Entry, Inventory Control, Warehouse Management, CRM, Sales Reporting and Analysis, and more. ERP-ONE+ also includes high-demand functionality like Quality Control Tracking, RF Scanning, VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory), Kitting/Assembly, and Lot Control.

Companies have the choice of Cloud ERP, SaaS ERP, and On-Premise ERP. These options present businesses with considerations relating to server location, maintenance, customizations, and updates. Cloud ERP provides the fastest path to implementation and avoids the need for physical servers and in-house IT support.

Because Distribution One provides a complete solution, companies can focus on choices of third party integrations that work best for them. Regarding integration options, businesses can easily connect with Amazon, leading shippers like FedEx and UPS to handle their logistics and tracking needs, and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) trading partners. Supplementary API (Application Program Interface) services, Mobile Applications, hosted e-Commerce solutions, and enhanced Business Intelligence Dashboards expand the scope of business functionality while delivering deeper insight into current sales and projections.
