Grainger sales up 16 percent in May
Grainger reported sales results for the month of May 2010 increased 16 percent versus May 2009.
Results for the month included a 5 percentage point positive contribution from acquisitions and a 2 percentage point contribution from foreign exchange. Excluding acquisitions and foreign exchange, daily sales for the company increased 9 percent.
Sales in the United States were up 10 percent, while sales in Canada increased 23 percent and other businesses gained 253 percent.
