HD Supply posts 14.2 percent sales gain
HD Supply reported net sales of $1.4 billion for the first quarter of fiscal 2018, an increase of 14.2 percent compared to $1.2 billion in the first quarter of fiscal 2017.
Organic sales growth for the quarter was 9.9 percent.
Net income increased 4.7 percent to $89 million for the quarter, compared to $85 million for the first quarter of fiscal 2017.
Facilities Maintenance net sales increased 6.0 percent to $723 million in the quarter, compared to $682 million for the first quarter of fiscal 2017.
Construction & Industrial net sales increased 24.3 percent to $666 million, compared to $536 million for the same period last year.
