Fastenal sales climb 19.1 percent in April
Fastenal recorded a 19.1 percent sales increase in April, with sales climbing to $409.3 million compared to $343.7 million in April 2017.
Daily sales of $19.5 million increased 13.4 percent from $17.2 million in the same month last year.
Sales to manufacturing customers improved by 14.4 percent, while sales to non-residential construction customers improved by 13.1 percent.
Sales to national account customers increased by 19 percent and sales to non-national accounts improved by 8 percent.
Total employee headcount grew to 20,939 at the end of the month, compared to 19,883 last year.
