Ryan Herco acquires Engineered Machinery

Ryan Herco Flow Solutions completed the acquisition of Engineered Machinery Incorporated (EMI) headquartered in Tualatin, Oregon.

EMI is a high purity fluid handling and pump repair distributor providing products and services for the microelectronics and general industrial market segments.

"I couldn't be more pleased to join up with the EMI Team. Our vision is to leverage EMI's advanced capabilities to take Ryan Herco's Value Added Services offering to a new level," said Chuck Moyer, chief executive officer of Ryan Herco. "We will be able to immediately increase EMI's volumes in pump repair and fabrication and, longer term, adopt EMI's processes to streamline the complementary service offerings at Ryan Herco."

Rick Hinkes, president of EMI, added, "EMI's vision has been to combine distribution, manufacturing and repair of fluidic components and systems in a unique way, to provide added value to our customers. The dedication of the team here has proven that concept and created a good business model. It's time to take that model to the next step. I'm thrilled to have someone with the reputation and proactive vision that RHFS brings to the marketplace and excited about what the future could hold for the people of both companies."

Based in Burbank, Calif., Ryan Herco is a specialty distributor of flow solutions for mission critical fluids.
