Tribute named IDCO-endorsed supplier

Tribute Inc. announced its selection by the Industrial Distributor Cooperative (IDCO) as a premium and endorsed supplier of ERP distribution software.

IDCO is a co-op for independent distributors serving the industrial community with hose, fittings, gaskets, rubber materials and related products.

More than a third of IDCO's members use Tribute's software to run their businesses. With over 35 years of focusing on the hose, sealing, and fluid power industry, Tribute's software provides niche-specific features for distributors and fabricators in this marketplace.

"Tribute is proud to be selected as an IDCO endorsed partner and member of the 'hoser community' as it celebrates its 25th year," said Tim Reynolds, president of Tribute Inc. "This partnership, along with our longstanding membership in ISD, NAHAD and NIBA, bolsters Tribute's focus on serving independent distributors in the hose and sealing distribution industry."

TrulinX by Tribute Inc. will provide IDCO members the tools needed to service their customers and manage inventory at a much superior level offered by other software packages designed for more generic wholesale distribution, according to Tribute.

These features include Lot Control for hose, belting, and rubber products, a Hydraulic Hose Assembly configurator with automatic labor calculations by hose length and/or fitting diameter, automatic hose cut-length calculation, a Serial Number generator to track hose assemblies, a counter store sales application, a sophisticated work order management module to track and manage complex assembly's components, labor and burden, plus much more.

Tribute has established partnerships with manufacturers in the industry to streamline their distributors' supply chain, including Brennan Industries, ContiTech, Dixon, Eaton Corporation, Gates Corporation, Garlock, Parker Hannifin, Sun Hydraulics, and more.

Jack Kehm, long time IDCO member and board member, cites Tribute's market relevance and customer first attitude in helping his company, Power Product Technologies, a distributor, designer, and fabricator of transfer related products, achieve over 50% growth since investing in Tribute's ERP software.

"Power Product Technologies reaps the rewards annually with our investment in Tribute's software. The pay offs come in the knowledge of their frontline software and hardware support teams," said Kehm. "Issues are resolved quickly with minimal downtime. The programs are constantly reviewed and updated to keep them market relevant. They listen, and act on suggestions by their users. Their customer first attitude shows up in every department. It is these factors plus many more that allows PPT to run its day-to-day business seamlessly and completely focus on our customer base."
