Integrity Tool & Fastener formed
Integrity Tool & Fastener is a new distributor of tools, fasteners, and electrical supplies based in Elkton, Md.
The new small business was started by Patrick Conner who has more than 20 years of expertise in supply chain and logistics management. Patrick saw a need to supply basic maintenance and operating supply requirements of the United States military in their stations around the world. Patrick met with members of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and learned that the military’s needs for simple tool, fastener, and maintenance items were not always being met. Integrity Tool & Fastener and its sister division, Integrity Supply, were formed to fulfill the high demand for hand tools, power tools, fasteners (screws, nails, bolts, rivets), and associated accessories such as blades and bits. The Federal government spends $1.6 billion annually in these specific categories and an estimated $6 billion annually across all categories that may include these products.
As a wholesale distributor of tools, fasteners, and electrical supplies, Integrity focuses its sales efforts on government contracts and solicitations, primarily with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). Integrity welcomes inquiries from military contractors and commercial or industrial companies. Under Patrick’s leadership, Integrity is committed to source as much as possible from U.S. suppliers, operate as a HireVetsFirst company (employing military veterans), and support the widows and orphans of fallen war fighters with a percentage of company profits. Integrity works with manufacturers such as Alcoa, DeWalt, 3M, Porter Cable, Metabo, Powers Fasteners, Delta Machinery, Buck Knives, and Armstrong Industrial Hand Tools.
In addition to serving as a distributor of high-quality tools and fasteners, Integrity has warehouse space in Elkton, Md., and offers warehousing, distribution, and logistics services for businesses that may require complete fulfillment operations. The warehouse is also available for businesses that simply need additional storage space and this can be contracted through Integrity.
