Nordson acquires German distributor
Nordson Corporation announced that it has acquired German distributor GLT mbH based in Pforzheim, Germany.
Nordson Corporation is a Westlake, Ohio-based producer of dispensing equipment that applies adhesives, sealants, coatings and other materials to a broad range of consumer and industrial products during manufacturing operations.
GLT employs a total of 41 and has been a distributor of the company’s Nordson EFD brand dispensing systems and related products in Germany since 1977. Revenues of GLT were not disclosed.
“We have enjoyed a strong partnership with GLT for 32 years,” said Nordson chairman, president and CEO Edward P. Campbell. “We have mutually agreed that this transaction is the next step in the continued growth of our business in Germany and the greater European region.”
